Auburn, Wash. (GRC) — After falling behind early to Olympic, Green River clawed their way back to a 3-2 match victory in their home opener.

A reverse sweep was witnessed by many in The Swamp Monday night. The Rangers jumped out to a two sets to none lead (24-26 & 25-27) only for the Gators to win the next three sets.

GRC secured the final three frames by scores of 25-23, 25-22 & 15-13 to cap off the reverse sweep.

Aiyana Brown led the way with 32 kills on the night along with 13 digs and a .509 attack percentage.
Macy Bonavente tallied 20 kills and a team high 21 digs to go along with three aces. 
Evelina Mykhalchuk, the freshman from Federal Way, Washington, notched a match high 32 assists. 
Riria Fujiwara added 17 digs and Tori Sartain dished out 18 assists. 

Green River Volleyball is back in action this weekend at Blue Mountain and Walla Walla.
